Title and description say it all :)

Need the baseid for the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Overseer%27s_Password. I'm an intermediate console user but can't figure out how to extract it.

Thanks in advance - Z

to do it the easy way just look at the locked armory door , open the console, then mouse click on the door to have the code for the door to show up at the top of the screen. Then after its up top just type in unlock and press enter . it will unlock ALL doors except ones that say inexsseccible. it also unlocks safes and computers the same way

Thanks MOTpoetryION - but I really want to do this the hard way :) I do need the baseid though.

In case anyone cares why, I'll put the tl;dr in spoiler tags:
Spoiler
My character is a non-fighter. Never fired a weapon. She is an awesome sneak thief however. She snuck past the entire population of Vault 34, which was thrilling and fun, and found her way to the Overseer. Now it turns out that you can't get that last password without killing the Overseer, because "monsters" can't be pickpocketed. Which I say is bulls**t. It's a word written on a piece of paper for crying out loud. I should be able to pickpocket it.

Anyway, sneaking through V34 was a great experience, and I don't want to trivialize it by knocking down all the doors at the end with a magic cheat code. I could have just toggled clipping and walked straight through, but as I said, I don't want to do it the "easy way". The game is forcing me to cheat a little in order to keep my role-playing experience intact, but I want to keep that to the absolute minimum, which in this case means adding one piece of paper to my inventory and saying that I pickpocketed it.

I guess if no one can help me with the baseid, I can use the magic unlock code on that one terminal and it will be close enough. But I'd prefer to get the id if at all possible. Thanks for reading. :P

The great part? V34 is very dimly lit, and the residents are equally dim. They only saw me when I walked right in front of them directly under a ceiling light. I was practically pushing them out of the way in darker rooms :)

So I used the magic unlock code on the Overseer's terminal, pretending that I pickpocketed the code from him. Armory open, fine.

So THEN I snuck past him downstairs to do the whole reactor quest ... and guess what! It turns out that the reactor terminal (the interior one) ALSO requires the Overseer's Password! And it is an [INACCESSIBLE] terminal unless you have the pass in your inventory, so the magic unlock code doesn't work.

------

AHA. It occurred to me to try using the GECK to look up the code. I found it. Using console command player.addnote 13a727 got the password put into my "inventory". Good job Zombra.

Doesn't work on [INACCESSIBLE] terminals such as the reactor terminal which require the correct code. Don't sweat it though, I got it sorted :)

Ah. Never tried that one specifically but it's worked on every other [INACCESSIBLE] object I've tried /shrug
