the release date for fallout new vegas is thursday the 21st in australia and steam lists the game as not unlocking till the 22nd so I am wondering when I buy me copy of fallout new vegas retail at EB games will my key allow me to play fallout new vegas on the 21st or do I have to wait until it unlocks on steam the day after the release date? seems kind of odd if you can't play the game till the day after the release date so I assume theres a misstake somewhere but yeah I get my copy at the store in 10 hours and steam says it unlocks in 1 day 13 hours right now

To my understanding.. The retail release of the game is the 21st, which means you can purchase your physical copy of the game on that date. It wont be digitally unlocked via steam until the 22nd however. (According to steam itself AND the posts by administrators on this forum)

and considering steams needed to play it game can't get played till the 22nd? seems to me kinda pointless to sell it before it can be used like that

I went to a fallout vegas convention with gamespot au and ebgames and they were selling it so we could play early and we get home to find out steam doesnt let us play it.
