What the [censored] do you expect them to say?

Also, the mods are off playing the game like everyone else is, they didn't "run away"

A patch will come out eventually.

It's 3am in america i'd imagine the majority of moderators are asleep or playing the game. As for the devs i'd imagine they're almost all comatose after pushing to get the game ready for release. You probably won't hear anything about a patch for a while at least.

A mod posted a while ago in the tech boards... all he said was the PR guys are sleeping, paraphrased of course.

We're all still around. But believe it or not - Moderators have lives, too. :) We don't work for Bethesda - we're simply volunteering our time to help out, here. Some of us have been playing the game (still waiting for my download to finish,) and others have been a little busy with this whole having a real life thing. But frankly, I know most of the Mods have been dedicating extra time to this forum, due to the release, this week. If it seems like anyone's "run away," it's probably because we've been just a little bit busy with the increased traffic and all the new members, here.

Anyway, we certainly don't have any answers to pass on. I'm not in direct contact with anyone who'd know, but the fact is that every game is going to have it's share of glitches; it always svcks to be one of those seriously affected by it; it's always kind of a pot-shoot whether or not you're going to get through a game with no problems at all, or whether you'll be able to even start (heck, I've known games I wasn't able to play - at all- for over 6 months.) And the first patch is never released as soon as everyone wants.

 Heck, until my download finishes, I don't even have any idea if I'm going to experience any serious glitches or not...

Yep, as nu_clear_day has said, we are doing our best to spend extra time to help folks out and find answers for them. And while we don't know what is happening about bug fixes and patches I assure you all Dev eyes are on what problems are popping up and they will be working to get patches out as soon as they isolate them and can find a fix. They won't fix just one bug at a time but rather try to fix as many as they can with the first patch. We've no way of how soon that will be.

I personally have decided to await a patch prior to installing since I just changed to a 64 bit system and know there are a lot of problems for that.

Hang in there and trust the devs care. They want games they work on to be a success.
