Question (spoilers)

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 1:12 am

So I just got everyone to their places and went to the tower. I activated the gala event or whatever. Fireworks in the sky etc.

After that a lot of ghost people swarmed in. As I understand I can still outrun them and leave them be... or I can ofcourse kill them. Killing them won't be easy tho.

So what I am asking is if anyone could tell me (without actually spoiling what's gonna happen) if I should be saving my ammo. Like is there a bigger challenge after this. I realise that I haven't even gone into the actual casino. Is the casino even more challenging?

When saying how tough it is also don't forget the fact of companions. Atm I don't know if I can get them back (you don't have to spoil it) but the fact is that with companions it is much easier. Companions usually take care of ghost people easy.

And the second question would be about the snowglobe. Do I still get to open up part of a map after this? Before going to the tower I looked thru everywhere but didn't find it. I saw all sorts of guides, but nothing helped me. I went to the north area and found the southern doors. There were two. But none of them had a hole in the wall above them. Does anyone know a guide that actually starts from the fountain or somewhere so I can easily find where it is? Or just a good map?

In the casino you'll have to rely more on stealth rather than firepower (except for the occasional firefights but not as much as The Villa). As for your buddies,
Spoiler
no companions inside, you're on your own.

You can still walk around Sierra Madre after the quests are over so you don't have to delay the casino for the purposes of looting.
Warning: Although you are free to explore the area after the quests, once you return to Mojave you won't be ablo to come back.

How hard are the firefights, are the same enemies (if not, don't tell me who they are, just if they are harder or easier). How much loot is inside the casino (likke ammunition etc).

So far I understand that I am safe to throw my grenades at the ghost people and then mow them down.

Like I said, the casino doesn't have any intense fighting than the villa. You'll come across a total of 10 ghost people or so over time. It's nothing to hoard ammunition for.

In the voice of a FO3 Mister Gutsy,
"Kill 'em all and let God sort them out!"

There's really nothing in the casino worth keeping too much ammo for. Go ahead and wipe em out. :gun:

No reason to save ammo, just hit up a dispenser.
