He just disapeared and isn't where the radar says he is. I could reload to and earlier save bt that's pretty far back and I don't want to have to do that. Is there a console code to use to put him right in front of me?

Are you in the Sierra Madre? Because if you are then he's gone home until you complete the DLC. This goes for all companions following you before you enter the Sierra Madre.
