I always play through the vanilla version of a new game before I start installing any mods, so yes.

I don't even know that I'll install a mod. Never find one that sits with me.

That's the plan. Unless Darn does his UI magic, that i'll use ASAP. In the long run i hope something like FWE and MMM comes along, i couldn't imagine playing Fallout 3 without them anymore.

I will probably install aesthetic mods but none that actually effect the gameplay balance.
Improved textures, character models and clothing etc.

As usual, yes. I think I would not have been that disappointed in regards to Oblivion and Fallout 3 if it were otherwise.

99% of the time, this.

(Oblivion, I played modded for the first time. But, then, I only got that game after it'd been out awhile, and there was plenty of documentation about how screwed up the scaling features were. So installing a alternate scaling mod was a no-brainer.)

FO:NV.... yeah, unmodded. That'll also give plenty of time for the mods to come out and get bug checked, so I can do my second run with a good selection.
