Since I heard of New Vegas, I've been rather pumped as I played 1, 2 and 3 (1 and 2 being by far my favourites of all time, 3, not so, still pretty awesome though, nostalgia, oh sweet nostalgia) I was highly delighted when I first started up Fallout 1/2, actualy one of my favourite things about the first two were the short (But sweet/wonderful) descriptions of the weapons and real life prototypes you could acquire (Pancor Jackhammer. HK-11 case-less, etc.) It was like the game was designed in part, by gun-nuts (I mean that in a very affectionate way, Guns are fun, Gun Nuts make guns more fun) Will there be any ultra gun-hokerry in this game? (Other than the 223. pistol, I love that thing, makes me want to buy it anyway, lol) FO3 didn't really have it, In fact, it felt like (To me, i mean, otherwise it's anecdotal, wait, that's the same thing, lol) they just were trying to focus on what was already there, er, cept the big boy, that had it's novelty. Also, FO2 had a rather interesting perk you could get: "Child Killer" Didn't know it even existed till my cousin asked me for help. He was beset by bounty hunters, after him for killing children (That's friggin' awesome btw, go bounty hinters!) He couldn’t seem to kill them all since he was running low on ammo (Thanks to "wasting" it on pick-pocketing children) I led him through it only to get the perk, Beserker... I still laugh (And tell the story better to my gamer/non gamer friends, who laugh/nervously. Sledgehammer called shot to the eyes!) Will there be superawesomecool things like that in the game? I tell ya it's good for family bonding! lol :fallout:
On to the bug part, well haven't really seen anything myself, but I've had a few friends who pre-ordered complaining about crashes and what they call "Game-stopping" bugs (Which is probably more crashes) What kinda support is Obsidain/Bethseda hoping to pledge towards this game I wonder, Bethseda did alright for FO3, though it still crashes/has game-stoppers (Mother-ship zeta had a couple that didn't let me proceed/ even begin)
