Just a quick comment/question. Bought the game at my local store. Why would the game install from steam, a much longer process than installing from the dvd? I understand the game is using steam for copy protection, but this just seems a waste. Apoloigies if this has been brought up before.

Are you sure it is downloading the game files from Steam or is it just installing and checking the files against the Steam ones for updating?

If it is downloading the files from Steam servers then they might as well just have put a slip of paper in the bok with the CD-key for the game.

It's downloading from steam and installing from disk.
