From my understanding the patch for PC and XBox 360 will be available some time in the upcoming week.

Gstaff mentioned in the comment section of the Bethesda blog that the PC patch might (he used the word "should") be up on Monday.

10 bucks on that they patched it on steam. found out that mobs are now immortal again, and radscorpions fly like F-22 Raptors stealth Fighters.

Aka we are getting the patch probly next friday.

i have 0 confidence that they will pull it off today, and if they manage to please my really low treshhold, i`ll still expect falloutnv to insta crash as soon as the patch comes online

As mentioned in the other thread, a German member already has the patch, so I'm confident, but assuming it will be out later today.

Well I'm german and I did get an update on saturday, but it seems we only got an updated exe.
At least my exe got updated and now says it's version 1.2.0.314, but I don't see any other of the changes in the patch (e.g. weapon balances), so it seems we didn't get an updatet esm yet?

Also, as I'm not affected by any major stability issues, I can't comment on wether the patch helped with them.

EDIT: Never mind, just updated, 230MB patch according to steam. :)

I paid nearly $80 for this game, got the special collectors edition and the book. Played it for 100 hrs without a hitch, now it crashes every time i get into the game. I didnt update anything or mess with code, use cheats, didnt touch a thing and it crashes. Installed your update today, noticed it was 250 mgs big, nothing has changed. Updated my directx to 11, my nvidia drivers to the very latest. Read online about switching compatibillity, nope. Turned off the shadows, tried all display settings from low to ultra, turned aliasing all the way up then down. Hired a priest to do an excorcism, Indians to do a dance, and Oprah to talk it to death, nothing.

I run a quad core with plenty of ram, its a gaming tower, sli if i want to run two cards even but only run one. Vista 32 with Nod32 in the background, i'm out of ideas.

I know you guys work hard and i'm pretty sure you will never read this, the game is broken.

Wow that stinks I also have the collectors edition...nothing in thee worth the extra bucks ...but its kinda cool so do not get me wrong
Sorry to hear the game is now broken ...after the patch

I saved all saves to flash drive and a copy to desktop And then reinstalled game.

You will have to start a new game but once a save file is started (there won't be one until you restart new game) you can dump the save file into game-file and have all your saves back

If you had that much luck before you do have the option of NOT installing any patches after reinstall,.... just play the game Steam will try...every-time you load to update "Just say NO"...but it can be done....

Apparently all this broken stuff goes back to an original game engine (obsidian??) that was broken in FO3 and has NOT been ever fixed (the engine that is)
I am running XP still so it (your luck at first with not crashing) MAY have something to do with that not running on XP...not sure (anybody on this thought???)

Anyway this game now is still crashing practically at the same rate as before 100 hrs of game play with crashes turns into weeks lol

Good Luck its a great game ....just alot of work....

All the Best
