Spoiler Alert: Main Quest Help Please?

Post » Mon May 02, 2011 11:03 pm

On my 3rd character, (the other two were mostly trial and error) I have decided to take over Vegas for myself, with the help of Yes Man... I have a couple questions because this seems like a rather confusing ending to do...

The quest Wild Card: Side Bets: Should I take the time to do all of the faction's quests and make them allied with me? Or just tell Yes Man to ignore them?

Dealing with the House: Is there a way to kill/disable House (For Yes Man) Without all of the Securitrons in Vegas kicking my butt?

Please help, I would like answers to these questions without learning too much of the plot-to-come...

Thanks :disguise:

You only need to beat the securitrons in the penthouse to the elevator without dying. There really is no battle. Once you get to where House is, the robots will not attack anymore. In other words, if you decide to kill House, it is pretty easy to do and the Vegas robots will not present a problem.

Side bets are just that. They will give you XP and you can prolong the game but they are not required to finish.

Like the poster above me said, the Side Bets aren't required, but the end battle get a little easier (not that it needs to be) and it's great fun actually.

If you do some Mr. House quests you don't even need to fight a single Securitron. Once he's dead or disabled, the Securitrons won't attack you on sight or anything.
