A very turn-off moment!

Post » Mon May 02, 2011 8:19 pm

A month ago i ordered the Collector's edition of New Vegas from GameStop. This release was my most anticipated moment of the last 6 month and when the UPS guy delivered the good stuff this morning, i was like a hamster on ultrajet. My excitment went from +1000 to zero when i realized my failure... i ordered a xbox version and i only own a pc.

I hate myself.

Just like i bought Fallout 3 two times cause i broke the first disc. I will also end up with two copies of new vegas.

I need to finish a job and then i'll explore the wasteland for the nearest futureshop. It better be good dammit!

You can return it, you know. As long as its unopened. But yeah, getting CE might be difficult.

You can probably actually make money off this by waiting a week and selling it on Ebay. I'm sure people will pay extra to get it now that retail stores have mostly run out.

I'll give the disc to a friend who has an xbox. I really wanted the extra stuff that came with the CE so i already opened it. I'll just get a new regular copy and be a good franchise supporter i guess.

AshJ is right, I wanted to pre-order NV CE for 360 and I ordered about three weeks early and they were already out of it. I ended up just getting the game and CE strategy guide. Leave it sealed and make some cash on it.

Pretty much this - the Box version is in very short supply, while PC and PS3 are still available in many places.

If its unopened, just trade the shrink wrapped game case for a PC version.

If you have a friend that plans to buy the Xbox version, arrange for him to buy the PC version and trade.
(he'd get his game $10 cheaper)
