OMG I am sick. I just played an entire day of clearing out major parts of the game questing finding unique items etc. I then log off Steam. When I got back this morning, I logged on and started the game. NONE of my saves from yesterday are there. Both the Autosave, and Quicksave along with all of the manual saves are back where they were the first day I played. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE. Why would it keep my first day of saves but not yesterdays. I exited teh game properly. Someone has got to be able to help me with this I pray. I will not continue to play this game if I dont know when the game will decide to keep what Ive done or not.

It's a kick in the balls to lose a load of work like that, but maybe use it as a reason to start again better with what you now know?

Every RPG I ever play, I want to start again after like 4 hours just so I can go back and alter a few earlier decisions.. Plus, those 4 hours will be much quicker seeing as I'd know what to do!

Well the link seemed like it would work but it didnt. I cant figure out what happened but I guess I will just have to start over. Thanks anyway for the tip I hadnt re used quick save agian but It still didnt work.

Unlucky dude. I'm sorry you're having a bad time of it. If I was given a pound/dollar for every time I've lost huge saves on countless games, through glitches and just general system problems I'd be a wealthy man.

Did you read the entire thread I linked to? There were links in it to more ways to guard against repeats of the same issue with Steam Cloud. It's annoying, but until a patch is released it's the best you've got.
