Hi,

(Dead Money DLC Issue by the way)

I'm unable to progress the mission. I find the key hidden in the book, and the game says it's been added to my inventory. I finish speaking to Dean, and proceed to enter the backstage room, but it remains locked, and the key is not in my inventory.

Did you go up to turn the projector on?. Its near the bar to the left if you are staring at it.

Didn't work, need a key to get up there also.

Hm. Well just explore around an see if you can find anything like going near the stage an what not. Keep in mind you need to go up near that projector an start it if you did not to advance.

Make sure to go everywere. Along with to the front to look for items along with look on the computers. After checking an clicking everything click on the door then look around. Because what will happen is you will get a key(Or something of that sort) an you will go upstairs to the projector an start it along with find some items. If you do have anymore problems. Please keep addressing them. ill do my best to help ; /.

You surely use the wrong Door.
Had happen to many people.
It′s Veras Key′s from inside the Music Notes.
When in front of the Stage turn around and then go straight up to the double door (don′t enter)
then turn left. Its in the corner.
What also confuses many, is that DEAN is saying the Door on the left.
But apperantly the Door is on the right. It′s Left handed from his View!!!!

The other Backstage Door leads to Dean.
It′s locked until you open the Projector Backstage Door.

Just to clear things up, I still have the radios beeping when I explore areas, and after Dean first talks and I finish with him, the security holograms come in to kick my [censored].

I will be doing what you both said, and I'll let you know what happens. I really appreciate the help so far. Once this is resolved, if there is some way to give positive kudos to you two, I will.
