Hello all,

I am in need of some serious help with getting the chip.
Somehow I got vilified by Caesars legion, and benny is at the fort with my chip.

Everytime I try and get to cotton cove, or fort, all the legion begins to attack me.
Is there a way to gain fame for caesar again? Because I don't want to kill every person from caesars legion.

Or is there a way to finish the quest and get the Chip?

There is an agent of Ceasar roaming around the Strip who will give you the mark of Ceasar...which allows you to go unattacked to see him. Meet him yet?

Yes, all factions have a person that you can talk to that will forgive all previous crimes towards that faction.

1. Do not have Boone as a companion. Send him home.

2. wear Legion Armor.

It's a bit of all together but also none of it all, let me explain.

I allready had the "Mark of Caesar". I got it after completing ring-a-ding-ding.
So this was not my rescue. After I got that mark, I was attacked by the legion because Boone killed zome of the legion.
So I had to kill some legion, en gained infamy. This was how I became vilified by the legion.

I tried to find some legion bodies, en stole their clothes.
I wore them and I told Boone to go to the Lucky 38.
When I tried entering Cotton Cove, I was neutral and not attacked by caesar's legion, however, when I came across a Legion Mongrel (the dog) All of a sudden all the legion turned hostile to me?

Could this have something to do with me killing some mongrels in Nipton townhall?
I had to get into there, and the mongrels attacked me, whil outside the legion was neutral to me.
So if I avoind legion mongrels, I should be fine.

Edit: It is impossible, because caesars tent is fileld with legion mongrels!!!

This way I cant finish the game :S

Looks like I am stuck in the fort now. <_<

I got in, and found out that I cant get to caesar becaus as soon as I enter the tent everyone turns hostile towards me.
So I tried getting back to cotton cove again. I talk to that ferry man, and he tells me caesar waits for me and I can find my own way.
So I can't get to caesar, and also can't get back to cotton cove?

I'm stuck in the fort, I am almost at the point of killing all the caesar legion peeps.. Does anyone know a solution?
Or does anyone know what consequenses killing all of caesars legion (incl caesar) has for me?
