Oh BoS, how sad it is to see you go.

First I gotta say it's pretty [censored] up you have no option to enlist the BoS if you side with house. I don't really care about his paranoia or what he thinks will happen. I worked my ass of to become idolized by these people now I have to blow them the [censored] up? Lame. Worse yet he has no real proof, hell the mojave chapter is a bunch of push overs. That could have been a good partnership. This is why I killed house my fist play through. Anybody can turn on you, the BoS is no more likely to backstab or go against you than anybody else. So they like technology, so the [censored] what. That doesn't mean your only recourse is to [censored]in kill them all. I'm pretty pissed at that, should have given the player the option to tell house to eat [censored]. "I'm not blowing up the bunker, so we can either do business or we can't. And if we can't, you die." Pretty reasonable demand, no?

Anyway moving on. As I set the self destruct sequence and the alarm begins to sound. I can't help but notice the lack of people running for their damn lives. I mean there is a loud ass siren going off, which you would think they would know means the place is about to go boom. Why the hell are they not running? Some people just sit around like nothings going on. Oh that siren can be ignored, it's a fire drill... Then the ones that do react only react to attack me. Ok, your home is minutes away from blowing up with you in it and the thing you decide to do is attack me? That's not very realistic, or the BoS members are quite stupid. At least escape and wait for me to run out too, and when we're out and running from the impending explosion, THEN attack me. That just seems really weird to me. Might just be me tho, self preservation is quite high on my priorities list.

You should've told house about the Pulse Gun.

I guess they're like the captain of a sinking ship or those weird muscians in Titanic. They refuse to leave and want to go down with the ship heh.

I've not tried to destroy them but it's kind of sad that they react the way you described. I always liked the BoS and their minimal role in the game is unfortunate and it's also a bit strange you can't tell them anything about the Enclave if you've done Gannon's quest.

I liked them more in this game than in 3, they were a lot less snobbish. Times have been hard on them, they needed a break. Not a bomb... Me and the elder was cool too, got him to lift the lock down and was about to take him to the strip to hustle all his caps. Until house told me to do him in. I think from every other play thru on I'll always pick NCR or Ceaser. Dunno how their endings are, only done independent. Which also kinda svcks and is the reason I went for house this time. Hope this ending doesn't let me down since I backstabbed the BoS.....
