Cazadore!

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 2:54 am

So I'm just out exploring the Mojave desert, when all of the sudden I see a group of Cazorore. My first thought: Let's attack, it's obviously just a re-skinned bloatfly.

Within .5 seconds, I wish I had ignored them and walked the other way. These things attack in swarms and are freakin' deadly! I made it out of the first attack alive with using 8 stimpaks. By the time I ran into the second swarm a minute later, me and Boone were gonners!

Anyone have this kind of experience with these steroid-injected Bloatfly's?

Thanks for the words of warning.

I got attacked by a pack of (3) Nighttails (sp?) at one time and they took me down to the lowest health I've ever gotten so far.

I'll keep an eye out for these jum buggies and take them on one at a time til I can handle them. Still paranoid about coming across a deathclaw without seeing it first.

Oh yes, avoid these things like the plague. Hollow points seem to work on them somewhat and their drop sells for a decent price, but it's not worth the stimpack cost. You can't kill them all fast and they are faster moving than you so you will take damage if you aggro them. Definitely want to be prepared when fighting them.

Yep...I was attacked by one infant and two advlts....killed only one advlt then died. So far I haven't encountered anymore. But I love killing Bighorners...was attacked by a pack of them just outside Nipton.

Damn cazadores! I noticed I only see them at night so no night time traveling for me. I was like, oh a bloatfly, then it was me having very little health and resulted in running into about 5 of them and losing an arm.

You might find this translation appropriate!

Yes, I'd have to agree... against the Cazadors you have no choice but to wave the white flag and :bolt:

Gah, I hate these things so much. My advice: shoot for the wings.
