flying polyp makeover

so earlier today i extracted a monster
Spoiler
(flying polyp boss)
from the game and was kind of dissapointed.
the texture map was only 512x512 and it came with no normal map

(but i gotta say that the model was pretty damn amazing for 512x512 with no normal)

so i am going to modify it

edit: restarting project

for now ill post a pic with a slimey material added to the basic mesh

The model is indeed amazing!

I believe sonofamortician created it, or at least the awesome lightning effects for it.

That is looking pretty darned awesome with that new high res texture map!

So...this was a monster embedded in the software, but not used in the game?

It was definitely used, but it has had a texture job by esepablo =)

thx but i stopped working on this (got other models to make)

as for the ripping of models, i use a program called 3d ripper/reaper which you can download for free @ http://www.deep-shadows.com/hax/3DRipperDX.htm
