Hi guys - is it only with me that the Boone-Quest 'I forgot to remember to forget' is not working properly anymore?

We arrive at Bitter Springs and instead of talking to me about how the Khans 'led them to their home' Boone says nothing and all you get is the note that you should go to Coyote Ridge...
From Coyote Ridge it works all right - but that bit is just missing.

Does anyone know how i could reactivate it maybe via G.E.C.K.?

nobody else having this problem?

The problem I've had w/ this quest is getting it to initiate. I have to take Boone w/ me to the Fort and kill Caesar before it initiates. Nothing else works to initiate it (not including console commands that is).
