I have the Pulsegun to turn in for the Brotherhood of Steel, 'I Could Make You Care' quest. I have a problem Ive read others have gotten, Veronica and the Elder just stand there and dont actually talk so I cant continue the quest. I can tell they position themselves to converse but they dont. They quest log knows I have the gun and points right at the Elder.

Ive tried reloading game and zone.
Firing Veronica and rehiring her.
Handing the Pulse gun back and forth.
Going to the shed where the original quest terminal is and talking to Veronica about the parts again.
Approaching from the other hallway.
Sleeping.

Ive wasted way to many hours on this quest. Anyone know a work around or a way to reset the quest.
