So I'm getting ready to go into New Vegas, just wrapping up a couple quests before I go in. I get the one from the Van Graff's to go talk to Cass at the Mojave Outpost. No problem. Fast travel over there...immediately attacked by NCR. Go inside, maybe it's just the one sitting out there (happened before), get swarmed.

Run away, fast travel out. Say 'ok...weird...moving on'. I go into New Vegas, do fine when I go up to talk to Mr. House. I come down, get the message from the Courier...and now I'm attacked by some NCR MPs and run away, thinking they're just pissed off and need to calm down for a few hours...Move to the next area real quick...now all the Securitrons are attacking me.

What is going on? I have a good standing with the NCR and The Strip (hell I just got there), haven't killed any NCR (that I remember), or anything...Any insights? At this point the game is becoming unplayable, because I'm going to have to waste the entire Strip and the NCR to go anywhere and do anything. And don't wanna do that, obviously.

I've turned the game off for a while, in case it just needs a little reset, and need to do some stuff anyway. Any help would be appreciated.

What armor where you wearing, and did you have 2000 caps or a pass to get into the strip?

Edit: Also, did you return fire on the MPs?

First time I was wearing Leather Armor, Reinforced. Ran off and changed into NCR Ranger Armor. Then when I was on the Strip, I was in Pre-War Businesswear.

I used a Pass from the King to get into the Strip, and I've got well over 2000 caps.

And no, I didn't fire on them.

Damn man... don't know what to say, hope you've been saving frequently.

Which, of course, I unfortunately haven't. Been relying on auto-saves, which screw me right now -_-

Last I saved was a couple hours ago. But hopefully it's just something with the programming getting jumbled and a nice reset will fix it... *crosses fingers*

Maybe it's a bug one of my threads was deleted because I had a similar experience. I tried to go in the NCR Correctional Facility which the guard at the door let me in, but later attacks me and it says they are neutral. It really don't make any sense to get attacked if you're wearing a disguise and you're positive you haven't did anything wrong it to occur. I was about to give up till a patch was released, but I was able to talk to the Ex-Sheriff for the quest I needed before I was attacked . There's another bug that happens in the Lucky 38 Casino your companions can get stuck inside the casino when you leave and they wont follow you out. You can then fast travel somewhere and they wont even be with you and you'll still have their perks. The strange thing about the bug is NPC's will still make comments about your companions even though they aren't really with you.
