I'm stuck can't figure out how to reach the area of where the robot may be

The check markers which I'm good at reading are not working correctly or I'm just missing something?

markers work OK for me on PC - it's the long way around, going counter clockwise to the door of the factory

I had to comment on the fact that i loved the headline to this thread, "Pimping Aint Easy".

As for the quest, i agree!!

To find the factory go round to the NCR lookout tower, in the back of the deserted part of Freeside. Where the door to the "ruined shop" is, and there is a small pathway through the rubble. Between the ruined shop and the train station. Its hard to spot!!

Now assume the position....................

I had this crap with the markers on the PC version, you go around in circles all night following the arrows.
The shop you are looking for is on the west side of Freeside, you need to stick to the North end of town and not pass through to the area the Silver Rush etc is in. Then head as far west as you can and go south a bit through some ruins.

It's in Freeside, go in the east gate (by Mick & Ralphs) - down the street, R, L to end at wall follow wall to left

Yeah its in Freeside. I spent ages thinking it was outside freeside.

I think the north gate is closest, but i am not entirely sure.

The part of freeside with the Old Mormon Fort, i think.

Yeah, what he said above!!! lol
