Seriously, Bethesda. Steam charges in USD, not Australian dollars - not that it would matter at the moment, since the US and Australian dollars are at parity.

Okay, we have a ten percent GST. That would push the price to 55USD.

What's the other 35USD for? Why are we paying almost double? Digital copies don't cost you any more to distribute here as in the US.

Do you seriously expect us to bend over and cop it, or do you realise that many of us will just import - or, if we're wavering (which I would be), not bother with the game at all?

Note: I won't pick this up even at a Steam "sale", because it'll still be 80% more than the US sale price for no reason other than Bethesda's contempt for Australians.

I bloody paid $120 for mine, although that is the collectors edition with the cards, poker chips and stuff. We always seem to get shafted though.
