any ideas?

so i just went to a fort >.> i hope that dosnt count as a spoieler and be the time i got through with it i had died around 19 times and boone around 30 so i finaly beat it -leaveing boone outside- but now i have no stimpacks, no super stimpacks, all my armour is shattered i have no ammo, all my weaponsare busted and frankly, im compleatly turned off on this game untill i can figure out how to get things going... so any advice? also anyone know where i can find some NCR armour without killing someone?

I cannot remember the name of the town. It's south of Novac. Ghost sends you there to check out the smoke coming from the town. The Legion has taken over and killed just about everybody. One building has 4 or 5 NCR troops dead in it. You can take their stuff....they don't need it anymore....

Ya need to run around and do some "prospecting" do some selling, some repairing, and get yourself stocked up.

...is Nipton, which you pass through during the main quest. The building with the NCR soldiers in it is to your left as you enter the town from the west, up in a corner along the fence.
