Save bugs? : Fallout: New Vegas

I played a couple of hours last night, finished up the quest that sends the ghouls rocketing away from the Novac area. I quick save and close out the game. I log in this morning and my last save is from the day before yesterday. So basically, hours of progress has been lost, my in game time wasted having to redo [censored] I've already done just to play catch up. Some good news though! I still have the "Come fly with me" achievement so I know it wasn't all just a dream. Thanks for letting me pay 50 bucks to beta test this game! Oh yeah, I'm also encountering a lot of hill and rock formations that are not quite reaching the ground. Looks sloppy as hell in my opinion, and things keep getting stuck inside those rocks. Very buggy release.

Had the same thing happen to me lastnight... lost about 2 hours of play time. I quick-saved right before logging off... even the Auto-save had reverted back to 2 hours earlier!

I just lost an entire character. I decided to make a new character because I didn't like one of the talents I chose to explore, logged in this morning and the only saves available is the one from the old character.

same here i lost about 12 hours of play dont know if i should redo or just stop lol.

wheres pc forums at cant find anything other then this

Luck says it right. My girlfriend was playing while I was at work and her character ended up being erased but mine was still there. Not only that, the autosave was from the first time I had played... No clue how that happened. It was my girl character at level 1 in goodsprings when I was now a level 10 in novac at the time, plus my girlfriend's autosave and save were gone.
I am so lucky XDDDD
