Not much of a technical issue here, but just wanted to say how dissapointed I was to see F: NV needs steam. I received this game as a Christmas gift, as a huge fan of the series.

I began installing and as soon as I saw that Steam's setup was starting, I quit the process. I refuse to play anything that uses that junk (in my opinion). I have had games that require Steam before and had nothing but hassle.

Why why do you have to do this! What is wrong with an old fashioned install CD that doesnt require all this internet activation! This is what blooming piracy has done to the world, made a simple process more long winded for us genuine customers.

Sorry to moan, but I dont really want to install now as Steam really seems to mess things up for me (lagging, saving issues... don't know why) and why should fallout fans have to by a new pc just to allow for steam to work properly.

All that is needed is an internet connection to validate the disc and to download any patches/updates. After that you don't need to be on-line with Steam
