I'm from Belgium and just spent my money on Fallout New Vegas.
I was very happy to see it in the shelves of the shop.
That was until I discovered installing steam was mandatory for the game.
Note: Steam is one of the main reasons I did not buy Dawn of War 2.
So then, lets install this thing I really do not want on my PC.
I create my account.
Then up to installing the game.
I click next ... then get a popup saying I can't install the game because it is not released yet ...
I agree it is my fault for a part, I should have checked before, as I did for Dawn of War 2.
But having Fallout 3, which did not need Steam, I never expected Fallout New Vegas to need steam as well.
So now, here I am with 43€ less in my bank account, the game in my Dvd player, but just because an internet site decided that it was too early I can't play it.
I must say i'm more than extremely disappointed.
Although I loved most Obsidian and Bethesda games, now I will be much more carefull before buying your games.
I'm playing games since more than 15 years, and it is the very first time I can't pley a game the day I buy it.
Hope I do not have to wait too long before Steam decides I'm allowed to get fun with the money I spent.
