Hey.. I'm loving the game so far. No problems, no bugs, no glitches, and no freezes and I'm 7 hours in (xbox 360). However.. the only enemies I seem to come across are GIANT SCORPIONS! lol. I'm only level 8 and I only have rifles, pistols and dynamite. The dynamite doesn't work too well, and the bullets seem to do more harm to me than to them! I use an abandoned house to store my goods and I emerged to find 4 of the svckers waiting for me right outside my home!

Does anyone have any tips for killing these things? I can't seem to find any weapons other than bullet projectiles.. I'm playing on normal difficulty and it seems to take 30-50 bullets to take down one of these things, and I always seem to run into 2+ at once! I'm running out of ammo fast, and they keep killing me. when I use dynamite in vats they just run over and beyond it's explosive radius.

Try to get Armor Piercing ammunition, it's for taking on enemies with high armor rating and obviosuly they have a high armor rating.

I tried that, but it had no noticeable effect! They still take forever to kill. I need a fire weapon or a rocket launcher or something.

Try using Dynamite outside of VATS? I have like 17 explosives skill and I have never had a problem hitting Radscorpions with dynamite. Try throwing at them on a flat surface. I've also found running backwards and jumping like a fool helps a lot.

Forgot to mention, I have the Entomologist perk, so I get +50% damage to radscorpions and they're still tough to kill

Then you would know that dynamite is also ineffective as it takes like 15 to take down 1 scorp. There's gotta be a better way!

I use a mix of AP rounds and Dynamite. I use Dynamite to weaken/cripple them and then switch to AP rounds. If all else fails I just pop a Stealth Boy.
