I just finally installed fallout nv and I cannot wait to play it, however once I get through steam (which was a nightmare to begin with) I eventually make it to the start up screen (the screen wtih the options of play, help, data files etc) once there and I hot play, nothing happens. It just goes away and never loads, Ive been having problems with this game since i bought it so if anyone could help id be in their debt

If you actually want answers, you have to be much more forthcoming, really.

If and when a complete problem report, including the standard PC Gaming Computer hardware component summary, and a routine software environmental description is provided, along with full symptom details, then perhaps someone here will be able to offer a suggestion.
