I had no idea how useful this skill was until I was around level 8... With what seems like an extreme shortage of stimpaks in the Mojave Wasteland, the Survival skill has become my best friend!

This perk and its recipes have saved me probably more than 20+ times now and seems like a must if you are planning on doing some serious exploring in New Vegas.
