Only abit over 1 hour to go before the game unlocks!! the wait is soon over but I wonder what did you do to endure this day and evning ?

I kinda cheated abit with the waiting (I sleept 4-5 hours uptill an hour ago) since I will do an allnigher (I bet alot are) ...
The last hour I have made some snacks for the night and wondering what to call my char ... (I finaly came up with a name) Skardi Ottarson .. So well that took some of the waiting too..

With only about 1 hour to go I think its suited to be alittle social on the forum before the anti social gaming marathon begins haha..

I spent most of my time doing work and after that I fell asleep for a couple of hours. Then I played Team Fortress 2 and Civilization 5 until now. This one last hour is most likely spent on the forums, I guess.

Well its 00:15 here in the UK and I had pre-ordered off Game.co.uk and recieved my copy on Thursday. Steam says "Cant install its not released" waited til midnight...STILL CANT INSTALL IT!!

Yup, grabbed à catnap and am now killing The last hours with my friend glenfiddich. Just one more hour

00:20 now, still can't install it.

I Hate steam and everything it stands for.

Trust me in time you will come to love steam its just a matter of thinking posetive.. Think about the good stuff.. now you can add me and I can tell you how far behind you are in killing NCR's (haha)

Does Europe use military time, example 0000 hours is the new day (12:00AM/00:00) 2200 - 22:00 - 10:00pm

I cleaned two of my bathrooms to try and pass the time.

Seen another thread that posted a link and it said "Unlock Approx 1 hour" but i'm just so seething right now with the whole set up of steam. If it wasn't there to waste everybody's time i would have been cool as a cucumber right now playing New Vegas.

That and other issues I have had with Steam just cause me to wish it dies a horrible horrible death.

Teasing aside we don't use AM and PM we use military time (if you like to call it that)

I never had a problem with steam and if we didnt have steam I had to wait untill morning to get the game (around 10:00) I guess..... so well I am quite happy..

Then again I use steam everyday and have been using it since the first day it came out (I was a hater before it came out but I grew fond if it thb)

Doing dishes atm and listening to some GNR tracks (bob crosby ftw!) until it's time
Figure it's best to do some chores now since it will probably be at least another week until I do some again hehe.

I dunno i interchange between using AM/PM and Military standard timing. Depends who i'm talking to.

The waiting is just freaking killing me. no doubt it will be a long install just to twist the knife in my guts.

Well not if you preloaded the game ^^ it will be like 5 mins tops I bet (I don't know if we have to patch the game since we only got a preload..) anyway when I download from steam I get 2.7 mb/s on avg

Well as i mentioned in an earlier post, I actually recieved my hard copy of the game in the post on Thursday morning, could fine understand that I would have to wait until Friday but whats really grinding my gears is that right now its 00:41 GMT and I should already be playing the damn game.

Though to be honest i'm just posting here to vent anger + kill time.

Well the last hour is always the worse (its the same thing when you have to get a hardcopy) the time just before you get home is awfull.... haha

But well atleast we get to kill the last minutes with friendly people on the forum.. I guess its not to bad..

Well i'm flicking between this forum, another forum i go to all the time, facebook and venting at the people beside me for the last hour. Might have a smoke to calm down before i give it another shot. 00:48 if things are correct (which they better be) its only another 12 mins to go.

ye time is ticking.. I only got this forum open atm but I am actually enjoying the quite time with my whisky...

I hope alot of people having fun with the game comes back and post on the forum later.. I saw so much negative stuff after the American release... (well ofc if you had a bad time you post aswell)

Well i have been actually avoiding as much comments by people about the game as possible. I dont want even the tiniest detail ruined for me. But if there is a problem...I shall vent! lol

All day I have been wondering wether to create a character I know will have the best stats according to skills/perks/traits..... Or create a character type that is genuin an real! I think I will go for the latter.....

I just woke up from a two hour nap (annoyingly right more tired than when I was before ), so now I should hopefully be set for a good four hours of Fallout instead of the one or two I could probably have kept my eyes open for otherwise. Steam just finished validating the pre-loaded files, so it's time to jump in - and hope I don't run into any nasty bugs for at least the first 10-15 minutes .
