hi, the game works great and looks even greater! except when I get to the legions area by the water, or near the edge of the world. It seems that all the color "disappears" from the landscape and the game looks like gray and grayer.... if i fast travel back anywhere the menu screen is fine and when I get to somewhere else its fine. is this a problem or part of the game like its hazy on purpose or something?

I think there was another posting about this recently.

It looks quite misty and dull to me, which is I think is deliberate as life in the Legion is probably not a barrel of laughs. :wink_smile:

Some areas have very severe 'color filters' - near Hoover Dam/the river is one of them. Camp Searchlight is another (greenish). It's part of the game, can't do anything about it (without mods, that is).
Altho on my screen the Dam/river is more of a brownish/purplish vs. grey...guess it'll vary a bit by monitor/TV color settings/abilities.

yeah, near hoover dam and the river, i think we are seeing the same thing, it just looks like crap lol. ok, part of the game then thats too bad.

I think its effective providing atmosphere to the game experience & theme of NV.

I get the same thing, around the crashed vertibird, well more north near the airport everything goes dark green/black, but when I fast travel it's fine. if it's not a glitch it's stupid of them to do

It's not a glitch, the greenish haze is meant to be a side effect of what's in the spoiler.

You must have the Low Light Vision. Nuka Cola Quartz does it to me all the time.
