hilarious encounters, how about you?

Post » Tue Mar 29, 2011 10:26 pm

last night I entered west side for the first time, and found a mutant hanging outside this one hotel, he was hilarious to talk to, even when i couldn't understand him!
his name (which I will have to sensor) was, i kid you not, "Mean Sonofab****"... I just wish i could have said more than 3 things to him....
anyone else seen this guy? found any ways to do more with him?
more importantly, has anyone else encountered anything like that?

Oh the reason why the guy can't say anything is because he was tortured and had his tongue cut out. Poor MeanSonofaB****
Still hes the reason why the fiends didn't flood and take control of Westside so he really is a nice MeanSonofaB*****. Sorry his name is too awesome to not make stupid puns forgive me :blush2:

I heard someone, somewhere, talk about Meansonofab****. I think it was an NCR Trooper at Camp McCarran.

someone should make a PC mod that makes him a follower--I wouldn't be able to use it, but it would still be cool! (I'm on ps3)

Funniest thing I have come across so far was when I went into Vault 11 and saw the poster that just says "I Hate Nate". Nate is my husband's name, I showed the poster to him and he looked crestfallen. I have taken a screenshot so that I can set it as the wallpaper on his PC if he does anything to annoy me ;) :D

Not to be confused with random encounters, which are almost non-existent in New Vegas.

hahahahaha

If we can expand "encounter" to include reading old e-mails on terminals, the office building with the four-way affair going on was ridiculously good. If it has to be an encounter with an actual being, then almost definitely Fisto.

I have to admit that the worst part was trying to explain it to him (given that he's never played Fallout in any of its incarnations), while he was going "Why? Why would anyone say that? Is it just a random poster, why why why?"

"Well you see Nate there was a nuclear war, and there were these vaults where some people survived, and some of those vaults were set up as social experiments.... oh sod it, this is going to take too long, there's a pack of salivating deathclaws over that next ridge that need shooting.... if you need to know, google it."

I remember exploring a cave when Victor popped up saying he was on his way to New Vegas. Occurrence surely was not suppose to happen there but made me giggle.

While In my electronic programming class I shouted "True to CAESAR!"

Everyone looked, and gave me a funny look...

The next moment, my other clasmates and I were interupting the professor and chanting "True to CAESAR", "True to CAESAR", "True to CAESAR".

That is so true, but I just don't have the energy to explain the whole "Gaaaaarrreeeee" thing to him from scratch, he's just going to have to believe that the game is picking on him.... :cryvaultboy:
