Can you dress your companions?

If you can I was thinking of trying to dress them in anything that looked similar to an Elvis outfit (if possible) and reenacting the casino bloodbath in 3000 Miles to Graceland.

Just a thought.

You can take away the armor that they're wearing and give them new armor, that is, if they're compatible with that armor. That includes suits, hats, sunglasses, etc. Just access their inventory from the companion menu.

Every Companion that I get dies within the hour. Also I'm on Harcore so they just go away forever.
