I have searched and did not find a solution. I cannot get past the point when Ranger Grant tells me to wait until tomorrow for the president to arrive. The screen fades to black and then crashes. I cannot proceed without a CTD. I am looking for some console command to get me past this point in the quest. Thanks for any help.

What OS do you have?? If you have windows 7 try running as an administrator and in xp service pack 3. If not then if it let's you get past the black screen try too tcl somewhere

I have windows XP sp3. This is not a general CTD problem though. It is a known issue (mentioned in the vault) and specific to this quest.

Cant garuntee anything on this One but this works for me. A few seconds you before you know it's gonna crash, sAve then reload

Ok I found a work around. Since waiting is disabled, I fast traveled to a place with a bed and slept a few times and for some reason that fixed it =P
