Did IGN Pull There Review?

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 11:31 am

So rumor is they had a review up but pulled it and put a new one up slightly different

I read this story of the rumor from Giant Bombs Forum Board for Fallout: NV

And it looks like there was some tweeting going on about this from corporate heads from both sided not named

The review video I watch seemed fair to me she did point out there are some minor bugs that is normal for a release of this type of game

But anyways I thought I just share this with you :user:

Not sure about IGN.

I watched GameSpots Review before I went to school this morning. Well it wasn't really a review at all. It looks like they just take the stuff off the forums here and post it in thier video. Then i read from a post hours ago that they took it off.

But really all GameSpots Review was just aboout the bugs and glitches.

Pointless.

Just like the threads with people crying over them.

Kevin V. at gamespot is a GREAT reviewer. If he says the game is broken, the game is broken. Game killing save bugs are not acceptable in a finished product. We pay good money for these games. There's nothing wrong with delaying a game for a few months to fix and polish.

In the title -- it's "their", not "there". :)

I have yet to see a game save bug. I didnt even see that in Fallout 3. There is never any promise saying the game is going to be perfect. If you tested the game of every second, minute, and day, before the game out it would still not be perfect. You cant catch everything and some games will have different bugs. For a game of this size its amazing to see only a few bugs.

Wow get a grip and think for a second actually.... just because one man, overpaid critic with just as much credability as any gamer, thinks its broken. Doesn't mean its true... gamespot has awful reviews and always has.... I have played it for many hours and seen no game breaking bugs and am having fun.... best game I've played in a long time.... think for yourself, please

Yes its pulled. Don't bother clicking on the review and clearly seeing that it's not, (as none of them have) because that would just be too easy.

Why does this thread exist?

My game has a bug where the only autosave it keeps after I quit the game is the one from leaving the Doc's house in Goodsprings. Its not really gamebreaking, but it could set you back a long way if you forgot to save before quitting the game. Fortunately I spam saves every few steps anyway ;).

Nope, a couple of sites had problems with their sites and someone assumed the worst.

As you can see in the above linked thread if you read it though.
