in for the republic part 2, i got the quest to deal with the great kahns, but i killed pappa kahn early in the game.the quest won't update to show that, and i don't get a conversation option with the colonel to get passed to the next task.

ok, i found 1 more kahn roaming the hills that didn't show up on my scans. after killing her, that part of the quest updated. now Ranger Grant won't talk to me to give me next assignment. my ncr status is IDOLIZED. Also i have lost my companions somewhere and can't seem to get to where they show on the map. Going to another site on the world map doesn't bring them to me either. What do I do ?
