Wierdo hair styles

Hi,

I have several mods running, and I got a new one that apparently adds or changes NPC looks - War Never Changes. I got the mod and the update, then I noticed NPCs' hair looks weird - misaligned, face/head looks too big and it covers parts of the person's hair. Then I saw it had a comp patch for this issue, so I grabbed it, and it didn't fix it. So I uninstalled the mod (deleted the esp and all files contained in the zip) and its STILL broken. I deactivated another mod that might change NPC looks - Project Nevada Cyberware - and still funky looks. I downloaded the latest ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated from the NV nexus, ran it, and STILL I have weird NPCs.

This affects the PC too. I had a new character when I first noticed it, and even after I deleted stuff and did the ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated, even a different character AND new characters have the issue. The new character was female with "no nonsense" hair and my old character that I tried had the "Wendy the Welder" hair. Now the game is giving the old character "no nonsense" and its all whacky looking. Male NPCs have similar issues.

Please, any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. I've tried everything short of uninstalling FNV and starting all over again, but I REALLY don't want to have to do that :(

It seems my ArchiveInvalidation got messed up royally. If I set bInvalidateOlderFiles to 0, NPCs display properly, but mods like DarnUI don't work (the fonts are there but they're the default size) and if bInvalidateOlderFiles is 1, NPC's don't display properly, but everything else is normal. Can anyone help me?

What form of archiveinvalidation are you using?

If you use the .txt file try deleting it (back it up) and use ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!. You can either use FOMM or search for it on the Nexus.

I've tried 3 different versions - FOMM, and 2 different ones on FNVNexus. I've loaded old, characters, really old characters, and REALLY old characters. I've started new characters. All of em aren't displayed properly.

The thing that bothers me so much is that I've been playing with several mods for several months, I add 2, stuff gets messed up, and now I can't get stuff back to normal :( Ever seen a bald Cass? Not pretty.

It may be that this mod brought some textures/models that are now messing up your installation.
If so, try to find and delete them (in your \Data\ folder).

I'm not sure if that mod has affected your saves somehow though.
