Launcher crashing

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 5:22 am

Hello,

Got the game for Christmas, but just now getting to play it. Installed it on my laptop and my desktop with the DvD. On my desktop after I installed it, and played for about 30 minutes. Stopped, went to bed, got up in the morning and launcher crashing. This was the same issue I had on Fallout 3, but on a different machine. Been trying to find where it installed on my system to try and bypass the launcher, but can't find it, just found the directory with the save games and the .ini files. Checked my drivers and their up to date. Any help would be appreciated.

thank you

Go into your program files folder then Steam\steamapps\common and you'll see the game's folder in there.

Did rebooting fix the prob?

Check task manager to see if it shows the process is still running. If it is then kill it.

In Steam right click the game and go to properties, local files, and then click verify the integrity of game cache.
