Coming across the legion : Fallout: New Vegas

After spending 64 hours on my first playthrough I finally completed the game Doing it the NCR way (I played a good guy). Now on my second playthrough im playing a bad guy and want to get in with the legion.

Im level 6, I helped the powder gangers take over goodsprings, Helped the powder gangers with the prison quests, and I have been to Nipton. But things are now heading towards doing missions for NCR and I dont want too, I want to be Evil. Anyway with out to many spoilers could somone tell me if there is a way I can start getting on the Legions good side? Do I have to go straight to their base and speak with ceasor or can I do quest that will lead me to him? If possible I want to stay away from NCR.

Go east go to Nelson.

Also, you can do NCR quest which ends in Legion's flavor

If you kill all NCR troops there the Legion would eventually take over.

Also kill NCR troops and take their dogtags to Aurelius of Phoenix in Cottonwood cove for 10 caps and legion rep/favor.

Ok thanks, Ive been to Nelson and did the one mission they had for me. Soon as I get past level 10 Im going to head of to Cottonwood.
