I can not get into Caesar's tent. Every time I click on the tent flap I am told that I have to go in alone. I have been invited by Caesar and both of my companions are in a wait state at the front gate of the fort. I can not leave until I talk to Caesar. I seem to be dead in the water.

Maybe you have to get rid of your followers totally? Then go where you found them originally and "rehire" them after you spoke with ceasor salad.

Tell your followers to wait, or if you've lost one(say ED-E) talk to Victor outside the Lucky 38 when you agree to see House alone your followers are automatically set to wait, entering the pent house should also put them in waiting mode].
Of course your follower(s) are present you can just talk to them.

Alternatively if your planning to kill Caesar anyway, just start shooting now.

Solved the problem. My companions had to wait in the cove. Thanks for the help.
