hey guys ive bin playing new vegas as a good guy mostly but when i realized there was no achievements for being of good karma i went on a bit of a killing spree and some bullets may have accidentally on purpose hit the heads of a few NCR troops and they now hate me and are sending out ranger to get me they said i have 3 days left to make them like me and after sayin a few somewat unkind words to the leader of ceasers legion they how hate me atm aswell but i dont want to be hated by both the major factions tbh i hate the legion so F**K THEM lol but can you please give me some tips on how i can do some realllly good deeds for the NCR faaast

How far are you in the game?

If that isnt far at all, just simply continue the main quest. You'll get a full pardon for any crimes commited against the NCR after meeting house.

If that isnt going to work, head to Forlorn Hope - there's lots of fame to be gained there.

If the NCR are attacking you, won't they also attack you at Forlorn Hope? I went there on my evil character and everyone attacked me. The only thing I can suggest is going to Bitter Springs. There is a doctor there who won't attack you, and I think you can give him medical supplies for +rep.

I'm not sure. I never changed my mind about it once I started making them hate me.

I think you can still go to the NCR Embassy in the Strip and do "For the Republic"

Anyway, just kill them.
NCR won't go "hostile" against you permanently for anything really.
So just kill the rangers and be done with it.

If that's true, then my game was bugged. They were attacking me everywhere I saw them, the strip included. I was a very, very bad courier, though. I didn't do a single helpful thing the entire game that didn't involve Caesar.

OT: Just do quests while disguised. You keep the rep changes with it off, which kinda makes me think that everybody pretends that they don't know who you are while you have a disguise because you look like such a moron.

Get an NCR disguise and do some quests. Seriously. That's the easiest way.

ncr disguise? you mean like wearing their armour? will they not kill me if i have their armour on???? lol

Just be careful who you talk to while disguised. If you're vilified by NCR already, and try to talk to the no-name NCR guys, they will recognize you and attack you anyway.

It seems to work for some of them, but like I said, it's not a guarantee.

Only rangers spot me when I'm disguised. I talk to the unnamed NCR NPCs every so often and I'm fine (but my high sneak skill may factor into that). That was the bane of my existance when I had to complete Render unto Caesar.

Bitter Springs is in the North Eastern section of the map. I don't remember enough to give you precise directions, but once you find it, an NCR disguise should be enough to keep them from killing you, as long as you only talk to the doctor.

I honestly don't even remember if he can give you +rep, though. I know you'll get good karma, but I'd guess you get rep too.

k ty im hated by the ncr like i said but i dont have any ncr clothing do you think if i sneakily kill an ncr guy on the strip and take his clothes anyone would notice?

Wait until you have to kill one:
1: As part of a quest
2: When they send a hitsquad after you (which they're yet to do to me, lazy beggars)
3: By ambushing one in a small location (like Ranger Base Alpha) and kill them when everyone else is sleeping
4: Chancing it and try to get a sneak attack critical.

dont worrry it appear that 2 guards may have "fallen over" at the NCR police building at the new vegas strip apparently they "fell down" causing a rather nasty mess i dont know how no1 noticed ...... lol anyway i got my disguise so im off to bitter springs lol

few i went to bitter springs and gave him 2 doctors bags im finally neutral again in the eyes of the NCR lol it was close though i could actually see the NCR rangers coming to kill me as a run up the steps to enter the camp lol

me again i need help again plz i seem to be hated again im now known as a merciful thug in the eyes of the ncr any other weays i can help them out plzzz

Honestly if you go and kill NCR people they are gonna come and kill you.
Live with it and go the yes man route.
