True. The right money, some knowledge and an honest salesman can net you a pretty good gaming laptop.
The only problems really are the tighter keyboard which I always find problomatic and the fact that within a few generations, your shiny new gaming laptop is old tech. And you can't upgrade.
A desktop you can at least upgrade components piecemeal rather than in one big pocket emptying lump.
