I was just curious who everyone sided with, and what their reasoning was.
For me, personally, I've chosen the NCR and Yes-Man now, liking both options for different reasons. I don't see myself choosing House or Legion.
I like NCR, more in principle than practice, I think they have the right idea despite a few bad eggs in leadership, and think theres hope for them yet, I just tend to feel bad acting against NCR, I guess. Independents probably my preferred choice however, I like the idea of being in charge. I like the idea that my character has invested a lot in the future of the wasteland has the resources to manage it fairly and intelligently(though Yes-Man himself is a bit of a wild-card who while I think is on my side and would continue to be, a little part of me doesn't trust him.)
While I think House has the right idea, and I think his motives are genuine, I just have a hard time a ) answering to someone else, and being his second, when I can do it myself and have to final say, and b ) something about me doesn't trust his eccentricities. At times, a part of me thinks his weird interest with old school Vegas and preserving that gets in the way.
Finally, I just can't bring myself to do anything nice to Legion. I had kinda hoped going in that they simply were misunderstood but had some good ideas. But alas, no, they are just misogynistic, slaver [censored]s. And no matter what, I just can't bring myself to help slavers in any capacity. It's just not me.
So, whats your take?
