The real Burning Man festival takes place in Black Rock in Nevada, so I was hoping that in game I'd find a Burned Man festival in Red Rock Canyon....no such luck.

You're looking for Joshua Graham, covered in pitch and burned. I was just noting his name is similar to a festival held in the Mojave where a wooden man is burned. Like the King is an Elvis impersonator, another Vegas staple. I guess I got too hung up trying to associate everything in game with real life events.

Nope. For now, he's just a reference to the cancelled "Van Buren" storyline, which was originally supposed to be Fallout 3 before it got canned. He might show up in future DLC or sequels, though.

Yes I know all of the background of him and all but I was just to lazy to search all over the map to try to find him.

The real burning man is held north of Gerlach NV on the black rock plia. No where near Las Vegas. It's about a 1hr or so drive from Reno NV.

Hmm. I figured the Burned Man, Graham, was the Legate, for whom Caesar had a special mask commissioned to cover his face.

The burning of Legionaires was a real practice in the Roman Army btw.
It was generally done to any soldier found to be asleep while on guard duty, while he was still asleep, and sometimes for other reasons.
