Well either one of them run Fallout 3 AND New Vegas?
And the other question,
Which one is dominant, and which one will give me more FPS for both games?

Besides 1 having an Nvidia based GTX460 and 1 having and ATI based 5770 graphics card they look almost identical with a very minor difference in CPUs. Personally if I had to choose between only those 2 PCs I'd take the 1 with the GTX460.(well really I'd just build my own but you know what I mean)

Maybe, but dont forget, ATI have always more fps, but ATI dont calculate all things (ATI supports only Antialiasing- Supersampling, ...(and some other things) in directx9, high quality (highest value) anisotropic filter NOT Jitter-Free, and so on...)


So, if u want high quality graphics in directx10 or directx11, use Nvidia, but dont be angry if u cant set graphic-settings to very high.

GTX460 is superior to 5770. Thats what I was saying. I run Fallout New Vegas on highest graphics setting with my 460 at a steady 60+ FPS on 1920 X1080 resolution (1080p).

Thats not true at all. ATI does not always have the highest FPS. That is just wrong. Where are you getting your information? And you can't set graphics settings to very high with nvidia cards??Where are you getting this stuff from? I run this game and many others on the highest settings with great results. Check your info and some benchmarks before you say stuff like this that is a complete lie and confusing to people that don't know any better. There are good ATI based cards and good Nvidia based cards. I personally prefer Nvidia.

I don't really know what you're hinting at, but the wording of most of your post is just wrong. I can somewhat agree that for an ATI and Nvidia card that are deemed equivalent overall, the ATI card does perform a bit better in Elderscroll/Fallout games due to the shader implementation of the games.

However, you're making a generalized statement for the cards in every scenario...not realizing that the reality is the GTX 460 is far superior to the Radeon 5770 in every game. The card that the GTX 460 rivals with is actually the Radeon 5850.

Well as the previous fellow said, the 5850 is the one that rivals the 460, well I have one that is slightly lower, but the CPU power is decent.
If you also must know, my resolution is 1280 x 1024, which I've recently heard is not the biggest size compared to the ones with 1980 x 1280, It's also an LCD monitor. I hope I'll be able to play Fallout in HD (720p at least)

Ha lol, if u cant read graphic-card specs, thats not my problem, and i said nothing about specific models only about ATI and NVIDIA, thats right, but if u dont want to hear that ATI didnt calculate "half" of graphic who looks very shiny with nvidia-cards, thats not my problem!

I see your prices are in pounds. I don't know about prices where you are but the GTX460 768Mb I have and the Radeon 5770 cards are just about equal in price here in the states.The 5770 is a pretty good card. Its what I started to get before I chose the GTX460 . I don't think you will have any problems running FNV with it at the resolution you listed with high settings. Enjoy your new PC! My card is a 5770 driven by a 3.4 GHz Phenom II X4 965, and I run just fine at 1920 x 1280 with most other settings maxed out. I get occasional stuttering and hitching, but nothing I can't live with. You should do just fine with that rig of yours.

One of these days I'll look into getting a 6870 or something similar.

It's actually Euro, and and I'm glad it is because pounds is more than euros these days.
