I was wondering what ending you guys think will become canon?

I think they might go with house? Surely they don't want to wipe out an iconic character?

As for me... I'm not sure which ending will become the canonical one come Fallout 4 or... Fallout 3 1/2... or... Fallout: New Brunswick...

haven't seen an ending other than siding with the ncr so far, but i do hope for sure it's not going to be the ncr ending

My guess is an Independent Vegas although they might not specifically say whether it was House or the Courier (with Yes Man) who is in control.

I seriously doubt they're going to let Caeser's Legion win, because they clearly intend to invade the NCR if they do. The NCR winning has a slightly better chance of becoming the actual canonical ending, but if it is the NCR will probably just sit on Hoover Dam and New Vegas and stop expanding eastward. Either because they now fully realize they're stretching themselves too thin or what remains of Caeser's Legion (and we're led to believe they are a country unto themselves) prevents them from intruding into their borders.

Bottom line is that whatever ends up being canon, the border is almost sure to be drawn right through New Vegas.

If they are going to continue pushing Fallout games into the future, I doubt that they will keep NCR doing fine and dandy. This doesn't matter if they do another East Coast Fallout, but instability would be key if they were to set a Fallout even further west.

Unfortunately I don't believe that Caesar will win.
I believe they'll drag on with the NCR on and on and on and on....
Just like they will do with brotherhood of steel.
And possibly Enclave. >_<

What ever ending suits best the plot of the next game that has anything to do with this one. They're all valid and equally neutral options.

Probably business as usual ending, except Hidden Valley got blown up for sure.

If I had to guess I'd say House.

I'll guess none of them will be classed as canon, this is a self-contained story so I doubt it would really matter.

I don't see how this can be discussed without spoilers, so I will move it now.

None of them, all of them, or the "good" ending, depending on the player's character and how the franchise dealing with it (considering all things that we don't really know how the overall event was dealt with in the previous game [save Fallout 1], even if the ending is obvious).

Probably end with any of them EXCEPT the CL ending since nobody likes an "Evil" ending. I would like to see either a Mr. House ending or CL ending.

CL ending would be cannon if they want to do more NCR in the next round. However given there are still plenty of places to Fallout, I doubt we will see the cannon ending any time soon , if ever.

I would think that either the independent or Mr House New Vegas endings would be conon for the next FO. One of the most anticipated endings involved the ability to declare yourself King of the Mojave and push the other fighting factions out.

Or...NV could have little impact on future FO games other than minor references, much like how FO3 was in NV. Unless of course they keep the story on the west coast. I would much rather they explore other areas like the mid-west or south-east.

There are tons of other places to move the story along, including areas outside the American Wastelands.
