Kill the crucified Legion victoms! end their misery : Fallout: New Vegas

When i came upon all the crucified town folk, i had the urge to end their misery by burying a bullet in their skulls. anyone do this? I walked by each one..attempted to start conversation - and when i recieved the "they are close to death" message- i shot them...to release them from the mortal hell

Anyone else do this?

This definitely seems like a spoiler discussion topic.

But no, I was afraid of negative karma. If the game wanted me to be able to kill them to put them out of their misery, it should have simply let me take them down.

nothing happened, no good or bad karma, just access to the crappy clothes they had on.

I shot them all in the head lol not out of evilness (is that a word?) but to end their suffering and i received NO bad karma.

haha, i killed them all by accident. I attacked the Legion at that one town (spoiler maybe so I wont say) and had to switch to the Incinerator to survive. :flamethrower: :flamed: As a result everyone on a cross was lit up like a Christmas tree. I would have felt bad, but they were Powder gangers

Srsly, I shot 'em in the head with my 10mm and half of them got decapitated or head-gibbed.

Well.... guess that also counts as "ending their misery"!

If you kill them, which I did, they just fall from the crosses. No bad karma.

Sorry if this comes close to a spoiler. Was not my intention. I did leave out a ton of details like town name and plot.

How do you guys insert the "spoiler" dropdown? I guess i need to learn that before adding stuff like this to the forum.

Any whoo....no xp is gained...just the satisfaction that in a world full of death, vileness, and depravity, you still have some small amount of humanity buried in all that leather and ammo......
