Adjustable 'hardcoe Mode' a possibility?

Hello... apologies if this has been discussed ad nauseum.

I'm only 3 hours in and haven't even left Goodsprings yet. Was looking for opinions on how difficult you are finding hardcoe mode so far? Despite only one game day going by, I figured I would have to eat/drink/sleep more. Checking the levels, they do not seem to have moved too much. I am hoping that - as I stray out of town and adventure off the beaten path - this will become more of an issue. For anyone who feels that it is 'too easy' do you think it is worth suggesting a 'hardcoe Difficulty Slider' in the future? A slider that increases how quickly you need to hydrate, refuel, etc.

Obviously this type of thing can easily be modified for the PC, but console users will not have the same access to these mods. Would a patch to allow customize the level of HarcorednessTM be welcome? Is it even necessary?

Very doubtful that hardcoe mode will be adjusted. And don't expect it to get harder.

The harder elements come from difficulty healing limbs and companion permadeath. Not the meters. And those are both relatively minor things too.

I'm not sure how long you've been playing but after sleeping my first night, I had minor dehydration. Seems fine to me.

Good to hear. I mentioned I haven't played long. I will be putting in my first true 'marathon session' tonight and will better experience the hardcoe effects. Just passing the time by talking about it and trying alleviate any 'over-hyped' expectations I have allowed myself to hope for. hardcoe adding a real layer of gritty survival was what I was looking for - Tale has already helped lower that expectaion to a more reasonable level.

hardcoe is a game mode, not a difficulty. you can set your game difficulty as you normally would regardless if you are in casual or hardcoe mode
