Road Warrior wish list

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 12:43 pm

dont you wish your character could wear @$$- less chaps like they had in Mel Gibsons 1981 classic "Road Warrior"........and perhaps an annoying grunting child warrior who wears a diaper.....

how about a gyro copter pilot who travels with a snake and looks like a ped-o-file?

dudes in collars would be ....."interesting"

and for the grande finale....how about a main character who later in life goes on to drink too much...spew hatred...and basically steer his career into oncoming traffic?

Wouldn't that be cool?

Did you play F3? There was a lot of Max in that (And 'Road Warrior' was the later US release. It was Mad Max 2 in Australia, and you had to see Mad Max to understand how Max ended up the way he did). Look at Cheyenne, she/he is Max's dog...a little bigger, but a heeler more or less.

The Road Warrior universe was likely one of the things that fed into the inspiration for the Fall Out universe. You can see that in the raiders in FO3. While the DC wasteland is probably too crowded with junk and broken roads to support vehicles, I'm thinking a dune buggy, or motorcycle would be very handy in the Mojave. Did Oblivion have and ride-able creatures in it? But anyway, in FO universe, nuclear powered cars were in vogue, so gasoline had become a think of the past while the technology for supporting the cars was lost. So everyone is on foot in the FO universe. Come to think of it, the battles in the Road Warrior universe were usually over the last of the gasoline. Once that ran out, there were be no more road warriors. But it sure is nice to think about having vehicles like in GTA and Mercenaries 2. Would have been real nice.
