This game is as good as sin

So after playing this nearly the whole day (had some rl things, but still played like 5 hours), and after reading all these "fallout 3 copy no like game" threads, i decided to make this thread where i just praise this game. It's fun to gamble in the Strip, the weapons are awesome (grenade rifle), the iron sights are so fun, it's fun to kill stuff with them and i noticed that this game has some of Fallout 2's soundtracks. How awesome is that? I like the world, the factions and the quests. Don't believe the whiners, this game is awesome, better than fallout 3, better than six, better than life.

Indeed, i just love those soundtracks on the back, the dust howling in the dry lakes, and just hunting geckos is so much fun. Odd enough, i have only encountered a few bugs, at gomorrah the guy who is supposed to talk to you bugs in place, and minor stuff like a scorpion stuck in the ground. It crashed 3 times during this whole day, which is alot less than oblivion. I am so damn psyched, i am alone in home to sunday, gonna lose my life to New vegas, baby!

Fully agree, played 7 hours today and loved every minute of it. Not a single crash yet(on pc) or any bugs except for a graphical glitch here and there.

Voice acting is great imo, New weapons are great fun to use such as the grenade rifle and the incenarator(did i spell that correct?) i won't spoil any of the fun for people who haven't played it but i will say if you enjoyed fallout 3 then you will probably love Fallout New Vegas.

I was in the same situation as you yesterday. All i can say is that the wait is TOTALLY worth it. I could play this game for a whole day, in fact, i nearly did it today.

Anyone play Red Dead Redemption?

Now I know they're not really easily compared, but doesn't this just **** all over it? I couldn't stand that game.

Only been playing a short time, not even got to the strip yet, but already the improvements are enough to keep me entertained, let alone all the stuff to do outside of the strip.

I've been playing it for 4 hours today, and for me its been totally bug-free. Its great fun too, suddenly everything is harder to kill, you feel like you're really in a life or death situation. Loving the hardcoe mode too, it really fleshes the game out when you're going back and forth for sleeping and looking for water and food.

Its a definite thumbs up from me, this fixes everything that was wrong with Fallout 3. Well done Obsidian!

I like the old west aesthetic the place has. It does rmeind me of RDR in many ways.

I love this game.

Even with it's flaws, it's a GREAT game.

Can't wait to get home and play again. :-)

Although I wish they hadn't made it so "western".
Every 20 minutes it reminds me of cowboy themes.

I'm loving it!! The only problem I am having is actually stepping away from the game for a bit. :)

RDR was a fantastic game, particularly because of the setting and huge game world - and the horse was arguably my favourite implementation of transportation in a game ever (despite being a huge racing game fan and loving cars in general).
Fallout: New Vegas is equally fantastic based on the five hours I've played so far, but aside from a large open game world size and a "wild west" feel the two games really don't have anything in common. I'm perfectly capable of loving both :).
